Reflections was commissioned by guitar collective Ex-Aequo for guitarist Evan Taucher. It consists of a contemplative theme and a multi-layered set of 9 variations. Each variation seeks to unlock a different emotional state while exploring the various expressive techniques of the guitar. I have always been very fond of the guitar’s rich and expressive tapestry of sounds.
